Complete Guide to Getting a Serbian Work Visa in 2025

Planning to work in Serbia in 2025? Foreign nationals need a work visa and Temporary Residence Card (TRC) to live and work legally. The process includes securing a job offer, employer approval from the National Employment Service (NES), applying for a long-stay visa D (if required), and then submitting a residence and work permit application at the Ministry of Interior. Processing usually takes 1–2 months, and permits are valid for up to 1–3 years, with renewal options. After 5 years, you can apply for permanent residence, and later for citizenship.
